Two Palestinian youths were injured by Israeli rubber bullets and dozens of others suffered breathing problems in clashes that erupted with Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Azzoun town east of Qalqilya city on Wednesday evening.
The clashes broke out after IOF soldiers closed the metal gate placed at the entrance to the town and blocked traffic.
Local sources told a news agency reporter, that IOF troops were deployed at the entrance to the town and erected military barriers then questioned the inhabitants.
The soldiers also advanced into the central of the town and conducted field investigation against some youths after detaining them for a while, which triggered clashes between both parties resulting in injuries and suffocation among Palestinians.
The town witnesses repeated clashes with the IOF on a daily basis, the sources pointed out.
